Financial Literacy Month Events
April is National Financial Literacy Month, and CARE has big plans to spread awareness on financial literacy. For starters, join CARE at its Financial Literacy Celebration. CARE will also attend several Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy events. These events include the Jump$tart Annual Awards Dinner, the Jump$tart National Partner Meeting in Washington, D.C., and Financial Literacy Day on the Hill. Hill Day is a chance for Financial Literacy nonprofits, like CARE, to join for-profit companies and government agencies to express their support for greater education to Members of Congress and their staff. In addition, check back to this blog, as well as our Twitter Account and Facebook Account, for lots of great content on financial literacy, personal finance how-tos, and industry news.
