We stand together with the Black community in the fight against racism and affirm that Black lives do matter! CARE is committed to inclusion, diversity and equity and the real work that is needed to honor and embrace you and confront all injustice.
We are deeply saddened and outraged by the lives that have been lost and enraged by the many brutal and senseless tragedies. But we also are empowered by the recent movement across the nation to open the eyes of all to these horrific issues and to demand change. We join you and intend to assist with the solutions.
As part of our mission to educate youth about personal finance, CARE pledges to address systemic racism issues as we work to increase knowledge and reduce barriers to financial success. We recognize that racism, bias and inequality in our nation are deeply rooted and we know the road ahead will not be easy. We are committed to listening, learning and working together to do better and proactively effecting change.
